We had a really great quick day trip to Charleston on Tuesday. Our friends Mark & Anne were in town from Arkansas and we went to dinner in downtown Charleston at a great seafood place called Hank's (http://hanksseafoodrestaurant.com/). Low country food in Charleston is ALWAYS delicious, but this meal was especially good! I had the most delicious rare seared tuna I have probably ever had! Also- the dark chocolate bread pudding we split was awesome. I highly recommend this place. Great recommendation from our friends, the Pyes!
We are leaving today for Asheville for a few days with Spencer's residency class for their senior retreat. I am super excited about our trip- especially because we are going to stay at the Grove Park Inn. A great way to spend a birthday!
